At Pampered Paws Cage Free Grooming , we are looking for a Weekend Dog Groomer who can work Saturdays and Sundays and who values customer service, teamwork, patience, and compassionate care for dogs. Grooming skills are important, but we also believe that attitude, communication, patience, reliability, and willingness to work as part of a team are essential to being a successful groomer. We are looking for someone who wants to become part of a salon culture centered around: Exceptional customer service Kind and patient handling of dogs Respectful communication with clients and coworkers Teamwork and helping one another Professionalism and reliability Following salon standards and procedures Creating a positive, low-stress grooming experience What You'll Do As a Weekend Dog Groomer, you will: Perform full-service dog grooming, including bathing, brushing, drying, clipping, trimming, scissoring, nail care, and ear cleaning. Consult with pet parents to understand their grooming preferences and expectations. Communicate professionally and kindly with customers before and after appointments. Handle dogs of different breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments with patience and compassion. Pay attention to each dog's behavior and comfort level throughout the grooming process. Work cooperatively with other groomers and salon team members to keep the day running smoothly. Maintain accurate grooming and customer notes. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary grooming station. Follow Pampered Paws operating procedures, safety standards, and training. Help create the welcoming, professional environment our customers expect when bringing their pets to us. Who We're Looking For We would love to meet you if you: Have previous professional dog grooming experience. Can independently complete full-service dog grooms. Are comfortable working with a variety of breeds and coat types. Have experience using professional grooming tools and equipment. Take pride in providing excellent customer service. Communicate clearly and respectfully with customers and coworkers. Are patient with dogs, including dogs that may be nervous, energetic, or require additional reassurance. Are dependable and understand the importance of being available for scheduled appointments. Are open to feedback, training, and salon procedures. Enjoy being part of a team instead of working completely independently. Are willing to contribute to a positive and respectful workplace.
