Aly's Puppy Boot Camp is seeking an energetic individual to help us provide complete support to our team of experienced trainers to keep our training yards and kennels spotless, sanitized, and safe for our pups and their people. You'll be joining an incredible team of trainers and handlers, and will have the opportunity to see an internationally recognized dog trainer in action every day you are on site. Your role will be to provide support at our permitted kennel while learning from the pros how to be around and with dogs. To succeed in this role, you have to be willing and able to work with dogs as if your life depended on it. In fact, the lives of our dogs actually do depend on it! We are seeking candidates who are interested in our late shift, which typically runs between the hours from 3:00 p.m.-10:30 p.m. and our opening shift which runs between the hours of 6:00 am-2:00 pm. Duties Assist with pet boarding, pet sitting, and daily animal care routines to ensure pets are comfortable, happy, and well-cared-for. Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques, ensuring their safety and comfort during cleaning, feeding, and grooming activities. Maintain cleanliness of kennels, cages, and common areas through thorough sanitization and disinfecting practices aligned with pet care facility standards. Support veterinary team members by providing animal handling assistance during examinations or treatments when needed. Engage in outdoor work such as walking dogs, supervising playtime, and monitoring outdoor enclosures to promote healthy activity. Perform heavy lifting tasks related to moving supplies or large animals safely through team lifting techniques. Deliver excellent customer service by answering pet owner questions, providing updates on their pets' well-being, and ensuring a welcoming environment. Qualifications Prior experience in veterinary settings, kennel operations, pet sitting, or animal care is preferred but not required. Knowledge of animal behavior, dog training techniques, pet grooming, and pet boarding procedures is a plus. Demonstrated ability to handle animals safely Strong cleaning skills with an understanding of pet care facility sanitization standards. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members. Ability to perform outdoor work comfortably in various weather conditions. Pay:
