We're looking for a kind, dependable Dog Bather to join our salon team in West Hollywood and support our groomers while delivering a calm, positive experience for every dog and pet parent. This role is perfect for someone who loves dogs, enjoys hands-on work, and wants to grow in the pet care or grooming world. What You'll Be Doing As a Dog Bather, you'll play a key role in each dog's grooming experience by providing thorough, gentle bathing services and attentive care: Bathing, drying, brushing, and combing dogs so they leave clean, comfortable, and mat-free Trimming nails, cleaning ears, and expressing anal glands when trained and appropriate Assessing coat, skin, ears, nails, and overall condition and sharing observations with the salon team Thoughtfully recommending additional services or products when helpful and appropriate Greeting pet parents and their dogs by name and communicating estimated pick-up times Helping manage bathing flow based on salon priorities and walk-in needs Keeping bathing areas clean and sanitized after each dog Making sure every dog has fresh water, is checked regularly for stress, and is walked as scheduled Communicating any health or behavior concerns to the salon manager, groomers, and pet parents when appropriate Supporting groomers and teammates to keep the salon running smoothly What We're Looking For A genuine love for dogs and comfort handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments Friendly, calm, and respectful communication with pet parents and teammates Willingness to learn and follow safety, handling, and care protocols Ability to stay organized, flexible, and positive in a busy salon environment Reliability, good judgment, and a strong sense of responsibility No prior bathing or grooming experience required — we're happy to train the right person. Experience & Skills Customer service experience preferred, but not required Comfort working as part of a team and independently when needed Ability to follow detailed instructions and adapt to changing priorities Pay & Earning Opportunity We offer a fair, transparent pay structure that rewards experience, quality work, and initiative: $20.25 per hour , based on experience Tips , paid directly to you by pet parents Hourly pay is guaranteed for all hours worked, with bonuses and tips providing additional earning potential Medical, dental, and vision benefits This role is hourly and non-exempt , with overtime, meal periods, and rest breaks provided in accordance with California and Los Angeles labor laws.
