$250-320 per fully booked daySchedule:
Three to four days per week. Friday through Sunday availability is required; Thursday availability is preferred.Job Type:
Part-time Paws & Co. is an appointment-based grooming salon focused on pet comfort, gentle handling, and honest communication. We are looking for an experienced Pet Groomer who can independently complete full-service dog grooms while maintaining a calm and compassionate approach. Quality grooming is important to us, but so is recognizing each pet's individual limits. Our groomers are expected to read canine body language, adjust their approach when needed, and never force a service when a pet's comfort or safety is compromised. Responsibilities- Complete full-service dog grooms independently from start to finish (Cat grooming experience is a plus)
- Perform bathing, blow-drying, brushing, nail care, ear cleaning, clipper work, and scissor finishing
- Provide breed-appropriate and client-requested pet trims
- Recognize signs of fear, stress, discomfort, or possible health concerns
- Communicate grooming limitations and important observations clearly
- Maintain accurate grooming and behavior notes
- Clean and sanitize tools, equipment, and work areas
- Work respectfully with our grooming and front-desk team Qualifications
- 3+ Professional pet-grooming experience is required
- Must be able to complete quality full grooms without hands-on training
- Strong clipper, scissoring, bathing, drying, and finishing skills
- Comfortable grooming dogs of different breeds, sizes, coat types, ages, and temperaments
- Gentle, calm, and safety-conscious handling style
- Reliable attendance and professional communication
- Ability to safely perform the physical duties of grooming, with or without reasonable accommodation
