In this role, you will provide professional grooming services directly at our clients' locations, ensuring pets look and feel their best while delivering exceptional customer service to pet owners. Your expertise will help strengthen our reputation for compassionate, high-quality pet grooming in a mobile setting, making pet care convenient and stress-free for our clients. Duties Perform comprehensive grooming services including bathing, brushing, haircutting, pet coat styling, nail trimming, and ear cleaning tailored to each pet's breed and individual needs Handle animals safely and gently using proper animal restraint techniques to ensure comfort and security during grooming procedures Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their preferences, provide grooming recommendations, and discuss pet care needs Maintain a clean and sanitized grooming environment within the mobile unit, adhering to health and safety standards Manage pet handling with care, demonstrating proficiency in dog handling, animal restraint, and animal care best practices Assist with additional pet care tasks such as veterinary assistance or basic veterinary technician support when needed Lift heavy equipment or supplies safely during setup or restocking to ensure efficient workflow Experience Prior experience in pet grooming, including pet coat styling and pet nail trimming Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary experience is highly desirable Experience working with animals such as dogs, cats, or horses in a professional setting (veterinary technician or assistant background preferred) Strong animal handling skills with an emphasis on companion animal handling and animal restraint techniques Excellent communication skills for engaging with pet owners and providing outstanding customer service Familiarity with kennel experience or pet sitting is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and comfortably for extended periods Join us as a Mobile Groomer to combine your love for animals with your talent for grooming!
