Table:
A bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Business Management, or a related field (preferred). At least 2 years of management experience overseeing a team of 15+ employees(required). Hands-on animal care experience and a deep understanding of animal behavior, health, and welfare practices. A proactive, organized, and adaptable mindset in a bustling environment. Stellar communication skills and a proven ability to inspire, motivate, and lead. Financial management expertise, including payroll, budgets, and expense control. Desire to continue education and training with a dynamic pet care organization. Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers and the California Fair Chance Act. The compensation information below is provided in compliance with applicable state and local pay transparency laws. The hourly pay rate for this position is $30 per hour. Actual compensation may vary based on factors including experience, qualifications, schedule availability, geographic location, and business needs. This position may also be eligible for incentives and overtime opportunities, where applicable. Where required by law, employees will be compensated at least the applicable minimum wage for all hours worked.
