The Blue Sock facilitates connections between pet parents and sitters, along with booking and payment processing. Sitters independently determine their own services, rates, availability, and whether to accept any booking request. Sitters retain 85% of the boarding or daycare amounts paid by pet parents and keep 100% of fees from optional add-on services. The remaining portion supports The Blue Sock's platform operations, maintenance, marketing, and continued improvement. Location Eligibility At this time, The Blue Sock is primarily focused on pet parents and sitters throughout Orange County, including Costa Mesa and surrounding areas.
