Overview We are currently looking for an " on call / part time " bather to join our team! We are looking for a Dog Bather, whose passion for animals and dedication to their well-being will shine! You'll work closely with pets, providing exceptional service while maintaining a safe, clean, and positive environment for animals of all sizes and temperaments. Responsibilities Safely handle dogs during bathing, grooming, and drying processes, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times Perform pet coat styling, pet nail trimming, and basic grooming tasks to meet owner specifications Restrain animals appropriately using animal handling techniques to facilitate grooming procedures Assist with pet sitting duties when necessary, providing attentive care during grooming sessions Maintain a clean and organized grooming station, including sanitizing tools and work areas regularly Lift heavy equipment or pets as needed to ensure smooth workflow and safety standards are upheld Experience Prior dog handling experience or background in animal handling is highly preferred Knowledge of dog training techniques or veterinary experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with animal behavior and health considerations Veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience can enhance understanding of animal care needs Experience with pet grooming, pet coat styling, or pet nail trimming is desirable Strong communication skills for engaging with pet owners confidently and professionally Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
