If you are a passionate, reliable, pet stylist looking for a supportive team, brand-new groom rooms, and a steady flow of wonderful furry clients. And have a love for pets, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities Bathing, drying, and brushing dogs to clean them, removing dead skin and debris from their coats, and adding shampoos and conditioners as needed Massaging pets to relieve stress and improve blood circulation Brushing and combing pets' fur to remove tangles and reduce shedding Drying dogs using blow-dryers, brushes, or towels Grooming dogs using clippers, scissors, or electric razors Trimming and filing nails Shaving the dog's face, neck, tail, and legs as needed to keep them in good condition Cleaning ears, eyes, paws, and teeth as needed Cleaning kennels or cages to remove feces, urine, or other waste products Cleaning the salon, such as the floor, tables, and trash can Trim nails Ensure the safety of dogs at all times Adhere to strict sanitary and cleaning procedures Communicate effectively and compassionately with pet owners Qualifications Previous experience as a dog grooming technician Comfortable working with anxious animals Ability to stand for long periods and lift large dogs over 60 pounds Willingness to learn new techniques and participate in continuing education Able to communicate effectively with coworkers and dog owners Strong attention to detail
