Responsibilities Feed, water, and monitor the health of animals in our care, ensuring their needs are met promptly and compassionately Clean kennels, cages, and common areas regularly to uphold the highest standards of sanitation and safety Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques, ensuring comfort for both pets and staff Assist with pet boarding, pet sitting, and outdoor walks to keep animals active and engaged Support veterinary staff with basic animal handling tasks and observe for any signs of illness or distress Maintain detailed records of animal behavior, feeding schedules, and health status for accurate documentation Provide excellent customer service by answering questions from pet owners and updating them on their pets' well-being Skills Prior veterinary experience or veterinary technician background highly preferred Experience in pet sitting, dog training, or animal care facilities enhances your ability to excel in this role Strong animal handling skills with knowledge of animal behavior and restraint techniques Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when moving supplies or animals as needed Knowledge of kennel cleaning protocols and pet grooming practices is a plus Outdoor work experience helps in managing outdoor walks and yard activities effectively Excellent customer service skills combined with a positive attitude to ensure pet owners feel confident in our care This position is an excellent opportunity for passionate animal lovers eager to grow their skills in a lively environment dedicated to animal welfare.
