This is for a part-time position for a receptionist, 2-4 shifts a week. We are a grooming/daycare/boarding/training facility. This is a fast paced job that requires a great deal of multitasking. This position requires a close attention to detail and follow through. Paw La La is a luxury cage free pet resort. We are located between Koreatown and DTLA conveniently near the 10 fwy. We believe in treating every dog/cat that walks through our doors as one of our own. We have top of the line ac units, an open floor plan and glass walls, where the dogs in daycare can be seen by customers. We spared no expense at providing the ultimate destination for pets in our area. We are looking to build our team with people who are passionate about dogs and treat every pup as if they were their own.

Responsibilities:

Answering phones Replying to emails Scheduling appointments in pet software and google calendar Quality assurance and control of pet database software/google calendar Memorize dog and customer names Maintain a clean and sanitary reception and retail area. This job requires diligence in cleaning up after the dogs and cleaning the reception and surrounding areas, so please do not apply if you do not like cleaning. Assisting daycare attendants when needed Moving dogs around the building, into and out of the play area Post pictures and videos on our Instagram and Facebook (must be comfortable with being on camera for photos, live streams or Youtube)

Qualifications:

Prior receptionist at a doggy daycare experience preferred but not required Spanish speaking a plus but not required Korean speaking a plus but not required Be comfortable with all breeds and sizes Must be able to stand, squat and kneel for long periods Be able to perform physical work and able to lift up to 50lbs Must be a fast learner Must be able to multitask Confident demeanor with outstanding customer service Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with other team members effectively Thrive under pressure while keeping your cool Must be good at taking direction Must have some computer skills (knowledge of pet industry software a plus Must be social media savvy Must have flexible availability
