An Animal Care Worker or Manager manages animal care and grooming for a retail store that sells pets or for a pet grooming business. May also provide animal care and grooming at a kennel. Works with animals in shelters or rescue organizations. Works primarily with dogs and cats. Assists veterinarians with vaccinations or other procedures; screens people who want to adopt an animal from a shelter and provides information about caring for animals.

Job Description

- Boarding/daycare/training facility in need of an experienced part-time Kennel Attendant (with available full time hours during peak seasons).
Job duties include:
- Cleaning indoor/outdoor dog runs
- Feeding, medicating dogs
- Bathing, brushing, nail trims
- Sweeping, cleaning and mopping of kennel buildings and work areas
- Supervising group play times Must be 18 or older, able to lift 50lbs independently, stand for extended periods of time, and work indoors and outdoors including in inclement weather.
