Candidates will have the opportunity to enhance their canine skills, as we provide additional education and advanced training techniques. There is potential for increased hours and career advancement within the organization.
  • Qualifications:
  • Professional experience in dog care or related fields
  • Passion for dogs and outdoor activities
  • Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record
  • Reliable vehicle capable of accommodating up to 8 dogs of varying sizes (preferably a truck with a cab, SUV, minivan, or large wagon)
  • Familiarity with navigating the Oakland and Berkeley areas
  • Availability for at least two weekdays from 9:30 AM to 4 PM; additional shifts, including weekends and holidays, may be available
  • Initial training compensation at $20.00 per hour for the first 2 to 4 weeks
  • Post-training pay will range from $22.00 to $26.00 per hour
  • Mileage reimbursement provided

  • Candidates must be punctual, self-motivated, organized, reliable, and capable of multitasking. A strong comfort level around both dogs and people is essential.
