full-time Who We Are Flourish Agenda is an innovative social justice non-profit organization that works with schools, youth-serving organizations, foundations, and local governments to build and implement strategies that allow young people of color to flourish. We provide the Healing Centered Engagement (HCE) approach, tools, and research to help systems better support young people of color and the adults who serve them. Position Summary The HCE Trainer I facilitates existing Healing Centered Engagement (HCE) content and workshops as assigned, working under the guidance of senior/project managers and the Director of Content & Training. This is an on-call, as-needed role suited to a developing facilitator who is building experience delivering established curriculum to clients and program participants. Key Responsibilities Facilitate existing HCE trainings and workshops as assigned, in person and virtually. Deliver curriculum and materials as designed, with minimal customization. Support logistics for assigned trainings, webinars, and workshops (Zoom setup, materials, sign-in). Foster a welcoming, engaging environment for participants during sessions. Participate in coaching and feedback sessions to strengthen facilitation skills. Complete post-session notes and participate in debriefs as requested. What This Level Looks Like Facilitates existing content as assigned; requires coaching. Builds foundational comfort with the HCE approach and Flourish Agenda's facilitation style. Follows established session plans and materials. Qualifications Some experience facilitating groups, workshops, or trainings (paid or volunteer). Interest in and alignment with healing justice, equity, and belonging principles. Comfortable presenting to groups both in person and via Zoom. Reliable availability for scheduled sessions; flexibility for occasional travel. Lived experience or background in education, youth development, or social services a plus. Compensation & On-Call Policy On-call trainers may work up to 10 hours/month when not engaged on an active contract. Role is not benefits-eligible; eligible for a contract-renewal bonus upon renewal. Monthly internet/phone reimbursement available, contingent on working at least 10 hours that month. Up to 10 hrs/month may include approved continuing education (Creative Labs participation, assigned readings, bimonthly webinars).
