full-time Who We Are Flourish Agenda is an innovative social justice non-profit organization that works with schools, youth-serving organizations, foundations, and local governments to build and implement strategies that allow young people of color to flourish. We provide the Healing Centered Engagement (HCE) approach, tools, and research to help systems better support young people of color and the adults who serve them. Position Summary The HCE Trainer II facilitates Healing Centered Engagement (HCE) trainings independently and adapts activities and materials to meet client needs. This on-call role takes on greater ownership of session design and participant experience, and contributes light content revisions in collaboration with the Content & Training team. Key Responsibilities Independently facilitate HCE trainings and workshops for clients and program participants, in person and virtually. Modify existing activities, agendas, and materials to fit client context and group needs. Provide participant feedback and session summaries to project managers and the Director of Content & Training. Support the design and delivery of webinars and online engagement strategies. Offer coaching and modeling support to Trainer I facilitators as needed. Contribute to light curriculum revision and content updates (paid separately from facilitation hours where applicable). What This Level Looks Like Facilitates independently; modifies activities and plans to fit the room. Gives clear, constructive participant feedback. Comfortable troubleshooting in real time during live sessions. Qualifications 25 years facilitating trainings, workshops, or professional development sessions. Demonstrated ability to adapt curriculum for different audiences and settings. Working knowledge of healing justice, trauma-informed, or social-emotional learning frameworks. Proficiency with Zoom and virtual engagement tools; Canva or similar a plus. Experience with education, juvenile justice, or youth-serving systems a plus. Compensation & On-Call Policy On-call trainers may work up to 10 hours/month when not engaged on an active contract. Role is not benefits-eligible; eligible for a contract-renewal bonus upon renewal. Monthly internet/phone reimbursement available, contingent on working at least 10 hours that month. Curriculum revision work may be compensated at a separate development rate ($40$50/hr) from the facilitation rate above. Hourly rate is benchmarked against current market data for training facilitators (comparable roles typically range $45$65/hr, higher with curriculum responsibilities).
