Dog Enrichment Specialist (Part‑Time)Location:
Palm Springs, CA — 888E Research Drive Schedule:
Part‑time, 2-4 shifts/week (15-20 hrs). Shifts may start as early as 6:00 AM. Weekends & holidays required.Pay:
$18- 20/hour to start About Dogs R Dope Dogs R Dope is a neuroscience‑driven canine enrichment center — not a kennel.
- Supervise and manage multi‑dog playgroups safely and calmly
- Facilitate enrichment activities (feeding through enrichment,scent work, structured play)
- Observe and interpret canine behavior and stress signals; intervene appropriately
- Execute cleaning and sanitation protocols
- Perform basic animal care tasks (feeding, toileting, lifting/handling when needed)
- Communicate with team and follow daily schedules/protocols Qualifications
- Genuine respect for and understanding of dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Calm, confident demeanor; able to manage "orchestrated chaos"
- Physically able to lift and handle dogs and perform cleaning duties
- Reliable transportation for early shifts; availability weekends/holidays
- Prior experience (shelter, grooming, daycare, training) is a plus but not required
