Responsibilities Safely handle dogs of all breeds and sizes, ensuring comfort and security during grooming sessions Perform thorough pet bathing, drying, brushing, and coat styling to meet client specifications Trim pet nails, clean ears, express glands if needed, and provide basic veterinary-related grooming services Use animal restraint techniques effectively to ensure safety for both pets and staff during grooming procedures Communicate clearly with pet owners about grooming needs, special instructions, and aftercare advice Maintain a clean and organized grooming station, including sanitizing tools and equipment regularly Assist with pet handling during appointments, ensuring positive experiences that promote trust and calmness Experience Prior dog handling experience or background in animal handling is highly preferred Experience with pet grooming techniques, including coat styling and pet nail trimming Veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience is a plus, providing insight into animal health needs Knowledge of dog training principles or equine experience can enhance handling skills Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for managing larger animals or equipment Join us in creating happy, healthy pets while delivering outstanding service to their owners!
