!!•PART-TIME KENNEL ATTENDANT.
Experience preferred, but willing to train the right individual in caring for and handling of various breeds of cats and dogs. Great starting position for anyone interested in working with animals or veterinary aspirations. MUST be dependable and have reliable transportation . MUST be flexible to work varying shifts either Monday throughFriday:
7am- 12pm or 12pm
- 5:30pm
Saturday:
7am- 12pm or 12pm
- 4pm
Sundays:
8 am-1 pm (We will work around school and religious schedules). MUST be willing and able to workALL MAJOR HOLIDAYS.
Duties include: rigorous cleaning, exercising animals in year-round weather, feeding and administering of medication (- all with strict attention to detail
- ). Must be a team player but able to work independently as well. This is a fast paced position requiring you to use your brain as well as physical flexibility with the ability to lift 40 lbs.

!!- Care for animals by feeding, watering, and monitoring their health and behavior throughout their stay Maintain cleanliness of kennels, cages, and common areas through regular sanitation and disinfecting procedures Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques and animal handling skills to prevent injury or stress Support pet boarding by providing attentive supervision and ensuring comfort during their stay Engage in outdoor activities such as walking dogs or supervising playtime to promote physical activity and mental stimulation Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' needs, behaviors, and any concerns that arise Requirements Previous kennel experience or background as a veterinary technician or assistant is highly preferred Experience in pet sitting, dog training, or animal care roles demonstrating strong animal handling skills Ability to perform heavy lifting and team lifting when moving supplies or large animals safely Knowledge of animal behavior and pet care facility sanitization standards Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients and team members Outdoor work experience is beneficial for supervising outdoor activities and maintaining kennel areas Strong attention to detail in cleaning routines and animal restraint procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met This role is perfect for passionate animal lovers eager to make a difference in pets' lives while developing valuable skills in a supportive environment.
