Job Description
Dog Walking:
30, 45, and 60-min dog walks. Scheduled between 8AM-6PM. Pick up the dogs from the owner's home and walk in the local neighborhood. No group or pack dog walking.Pet Visits:
30, 45, and 60-min pet visits. Scheduled between 8AM-6PM. Visit the owner's home to feed, refill water, give medication, potty breaks, litter box cleaning, and playtime for all animals in the home.Overnight Pet Sitting:
Scheduled from 7PM-7AM. Spend the night in the owner's home with the animals for the duration of the night. Perform all duties associated with Pet Visits in the AM and PM as listed above.Service Area:
We are looking for coverage in Riverside and open to people who live on the outskirts of Riverside (near Corona, Moreno Valley, Redlands, etc). Ideally, we'd schedule you with clients near your home - but expect to work primarily within Riverside. You'll often be needed to cover clients' holidays, weekend plans, and spring/summer/winter breaks, so we will prioritize applicants who are willing to work during traditional holiday seasons and on weekends. This is a great fit for college students, retirees, remote workers, and those who work 9-5's needing extra income. We use an app similar to Rover or Wag! that sends clients report cards and updates regarding the walk.Pay:
This is a 1099-NEC contract position. Pay is a flat rate per service: 30-min walk or visit: $15 45-min walk or visit: $17 60-min walk or visit: $23Overnight Pet Sitting:
$44/night 100% of tips are yours! $5 per appointment extra for working on a Federal Holiday $7 per appointment extra for appointments priced outside of our service areaReferral Bonus:
$50 per successful referral of a new client Requirements Must... be at least 21 years old, have a working smartphone, and reliable transportation. be willing to work on holidays. be able to pass a background check. have previous dog handling experience, especially with large, working breeds. speak and type fluent English and communicate well over text messages. have a positive, friendly demeanor. treat animals with respect, care, and attention, ensuring their health and safety. have an understanding of how to handle dogs & cats in uncontrollable situations.Preferences:
