- Overview
- We are seeking a skilled Pet Groomer to join our team and provide professional grooming services to our furry clients. If you have a passion for animals and expertise in grooming various pets, we want to hear from you.
- About the company
- We are located in Roseville Ca, near the galleria. We have a reception team to help with scheduling all appointments and doing the check in and outs. We also have a bathing team to wash and dry the pets for our groomers. We strive to provide a great environment for our furry clients and valued associates.
- Duties
- Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling pets according to breed standards or pet owner preferences
- Handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately during grooming procedures
- Ensure the well-being of pets during their grooming sessions, including monitoring for any signs of stress or discomfort
- Provide basic care such as nail trimming, ear cleaning, and teeth brushing
- Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming requirements and preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, including proper sanitation of tools and equipment
- Skills
- 2 or more years grooming experience is a must!!
- Experience in cat grooming is a plus
- Understanding of different breeds and the haircuts they get
- Proficient in animal handling and restraint techniques
- Knowledge of animal care practices and pet behavior
- Experience in dog handling, training, or pet grooming
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work patiently with pets of all temperaments
