Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Pet Groomer to join our growing team at Rancho Bernardo Pet Hospital! Our grooming program has expanded, and we're adding another groomer to meet client demand. You'll have access to a grooming suite shared with our current groomer, however, you will not be scheduled on the same days.

Duties:

• Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling pets
• Handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately during grooming procedures
• Provide nail trimming, ear cleaning, and other basic grooming services
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the grooming area
• Monitor pets for health issues and report any concerns to pet owners or veterinarians

Qualifications:

• Experience in animal care, pet grooming, or related fields
• Knowledge of animal handling techniques and behavior
• Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling larger pets
• Familiarity with various breeds and their specific grooming requirements
• Certification as a Veterinary Technician or completion of a Pet Grooming program is a plus
