The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and the ability to provide exceptional care for dogs during walks. This role involves ensuring the safety, well-being, and happiness of our canine clients while promoting a positive experience for both the dogs and their owners. Additional bonuses and raises when proven to be a good Dogger Walker within 6 months. And the following 6 months atfter that. Increase in pay Duties Walk dogs in various weather conditions, ensuring they receive adequate exercise and mental stimulation. Monitor the behavior of dogs during walks, providing guidance and correction as necessary. Maintain a safe environment for all dogs, being vigilant about potential hazards. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dog's behavior and any concerns that may arise. Provide basic care such as feeding, administering medication if needed, and ensuring access to water during walks. Keep detailed records of each walk, including duration, distance covered, and any notable behaviors or incidents. Build trusting relationships with both dogs and their owners to foster repeat business. Experience Previous experience in dog handling or animal care is preferred. Skills in kennel management, veterinary assistance, or dog training are advantageous. Familiarity with animal restraint techniques and pet sitting responsibilities is a plus. Experience with equine care or other animal handling can be beneficial. A genuine passion for animals and commitment to their well-being is essential.
