In this energetic role, you will travel to clients' homes or designated locations to provide professional grooming services, ensuring each pet looks and feels their best. Duties Travel to client locations with all necessary grooming equipment and supplies Perform comprehensive grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, nail clipping, ear cleaning, and de-matting Handle dogs safely and confidently, ensuring proper animal restraint and comfort throughout the grooming process Assess each pet's health and behavior, alerting owners of any concerns or abnormalities Maintain a clean, organized workspace on-site and ensure all tools are sanitized after use Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with pet owners about grooming needs and aftercare instructions Manage appointment schedules efficiently to maximize daily productivity and client satisfaction Skills Proven experience in pet grooming with a strong understanding of breed-specific cuts and styles Knowledge of dog training techniques to manage different temperaments during grooming sessions Veterinary experience or veterinary technician background is a plus for recognizing health issues Skilled in animal handling, restraint, and care to ensure safety for pets and groomers alike Familiarity with pet care practices including pet sitting, pet sitting, and kennel experience is advantageous Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with pet owners Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary (e.g., lifting large dogs or equipment) and work in various outdoor environments Embark on a rewarding career where your love for animals meets your talent for grooming!
