Duties Perform pet grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and pet coat styling tailored to each animal's breed and individual needs Handle animals with care using animal restraint techniques to ensure safety for both pets and staff Conduct pet nail trimming, ear cleaning, brushing, and other grooming procedures with precision and compassion Assist in dog training activities and support behavioral adjustments as needed Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding grooming preferences, pet health concerns, and aftercare instructions Manage animal handling during grooming sessions to ensure comfort and safety for all animals involved Support veterinary technicians or assistants with basic animal care tasks when necessary, including heavy lifting of supplies or animals Requirements Proven experience in pet grooming, dog handling, or animal care roles such as veterinary technician or assistant Knowledge of veterinary procedures related to pet coat styling, animal restraint, and pet nail trimming Strong understanding of animal handling techniques across different species including dogs and horses (equine experience is a plus) Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with pet owners about grooming needs and animal health issues Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for equipment or animals during grooming sessions Familiarity with dog training principles and veterinary experience is highly desirable Passion for animal welfare combined with a lively, motivated attitude to deliver exceptional pet care Join us in creating happy, healthy pets through expert grooming and compassionate care!
