Flexible, As-Needed Opportunities Pay:

$15-$30+ per service Position Overview I am building a local network of experienced dog walkers and pet sitters who would like to receive flexible, service-based opportunities throughout Colorado Springs. This is independent contract work, not a traditional employee position, and hours are not guaranteed. You can customize which services, locations, animals, and timeframes interest you. When a matching opportunity becomes available, you may accept or decline it at your discretion without penalty. Once you accept an appointment, however, you are expected to honor the commitment and provide dependable, professional care. Available Opportunities Providers can select exactly which types of opportunities they want to be notified about and provide.

Options may include:

Dog walking Drop-in visits Daytime pet sitting in a client's home Overnight sitting in a client's home Extended or hourly care Doggy daycare in your home Overnight boarding in your home Availability between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. is especially needed, although applicants with other availability are also encouraged to apply. Base Pay for Walks and Drop-In Visits 20 minutes: $15+ 30 minutes: $19+ 45 minutes: $26+ 60 minutes: $30+ These are starting base rates. Additional pets, holidays, special care requirements, and other factors may increase compensation. Rates for Other Services Providers can submit their own preferred rates for boarding, daycare, overnight sitting, extended care, and other services outside of standard walks and drop-in visits. Longer assignments may be paid at an agreed-upon flat rate or hourly rate, depending on the service. Scheduling, App Access, and Payment Accepted providers will be added to my paid pet-care app at no cost to them. All necessary client assignments, service details, scheduling information, and care instructions will be provided through the app. Providers can also use its available features to document and complete each service. Payment will be sent within 24 hours after each service is marked complete, including when multiple services are completed in the same day. There are no application fees, app subscription costs, or other upfront business expenses required. Independent contractors are responsible only for their own transportation, fuel, and related travel expenses.

Requirements Applicants must:

Be at least 25 years old Live in or near the Colorado Springs area Have reliable transportation Have prior professional or substantial hands-on pet-care experience Be dependable, communicative, and comfortable following detailed care instructions Be able to safely and professionally handle the animals and services they agree to accept This opportunity is best suited for experienced pet-care providers seeking flexible supplemental work without committing to a fixed schedule.
