Duties Provide daily care for animals including feeding, watering, exercising, and administering medications as directed Maintain cleanliness of kennels, cages, and common areas through thorough sanitization and grooming practices Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques to prevent injury or stress Assist with pet boarding, pet sitting, and outdoor activities to ensure pets are engaged and comfortable Support pet grooming needs such as bathing, brushing, and basic styling to promote hygiene and comfort Conduct animal behavior assessments to monitor health status and identify any signs of illness or distress Collaborate with team members during heavy lifting tasks like moving large kennels or equipment to ensure safety standards are met Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about their pets' needs and behaviors Experience Previous veterinary experience or veterinary technician background is highly desirable but not required.
