• We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Technician to join our team. • Duties
• Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, cleaning, and exercising.
• Maintain cleanliness of kennels and surrounding areas to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
• Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to shift leads.
• Handle animals safely and effectively, demonstrating proper animal handling techniques.
• Perform heavy lifting tasks related to animal care equipment and supplies.
• Qualifications
• Experience in animal care or handling is preferred; previous kennel or veterinary experience is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners.
• Knowledge of basic animal behavior is desirable.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods.
• A passion for animal welfare and commitment to providing high-quality care.
