Position :
Pet Sitter / Dog Walker (Part-Time 1099 Independent Contractor) Job description : Pet sitters & Dog Walkers are responsible for all basic animal care while their clients are on vacation or working. Routine duties for a pet sitter include feeding, putting out fresh water, brushing, providing TLC, pet clean-up, playtime, taking dogs on walks, cleaning litter boxes, and updating clients after visits through our client portal. Additional services may include administering medications, watering plants, collecting mail, alternating lighting, and taking out trash. Weekdays, weekends and holidays, as visits vary based on client needs Part Time (which can evolve into Full Time) The majority of visits occur between 8am - 8pm
Requirements and Qualifications:
•Must live within the Parker area in order to be considered At least 1 year of professional pet sitting experience Must have college degree Must have your own, reliable mode of transportation to perform the duties and responsibilities associated with this role Must obtain insurance through Pet Sitters Associates within first 30 days of being hired Must become Pet CPR/First Aid Certified within first 60 days Must be compassionate about animals Must be extremely detail oriented Able to follow detailed instructions Must be responsible, reliable, and dependable Must be timely and punctual Must be able to self-manage Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills Must feel comfortable working with and interacting with both small and large animals Must be able to pass criminal background check Must own smartphone Why join Denver Pro Pet Sitting?
