• Ideal candidates will live or be in close proximity to our service areas: Arvada, Wheat Ridge, Westminster, Thornton, Broomfield, & Northglenn.
• Seeking candidates that have open availability between 10am-3pm for midday visits. Also, open availability for morning visits starting at 7am, Dinner visits and night visits from 4pm-930pm and overnights from 9pm-7am is a strong plus.
• Paid on-boarding
• This is a independent contractor 1099 position. Rover, Meowtel, and other app pet sitters are welcome to inquire. This is a part-time to full-time position with flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities Provide attentive pet sitting services, including walking, feeding, administering medication, and ensuring overall well-being during owners' absence Take dogs on walks, ensuring proper exercise and mental stimulation tailored to each pet's needs Monitor animal behavior closely to identify signs of stress or health issues and communicate observations effectively to pet owners Offer overnight in-home care when required, maintaining routines and providing companionship throughout the night Maintain detailed records of pet care activities, behaviors, and any concerns for owner updates Cleaning up after pets Send journals to pet owners after each visit Qualifications Prior experience in pet sitting, dog walking, or animal handling is highly preferred Requirements include: valid Colorado drivers license, reliable car, must pass a background check Veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience is a strong plus but not required Outdoor work experience with animals or in environments such as farms or kennels is desirable. Must be able to work in the heat, cold, rain, wind etc. Ability to handle heavy lifting when necessary for supplies (food bags, litter buckets, lifting animals) Excellent client communication skills to build trust and ensure clear updates for pet owners Able to work independently and follow instructions Good communication and time management skills Must be dependable and responsible
