Duties Greet clients warmly, check in and out dogs efficiently while maintaining a positive, professional demeanor Manage appointment scheduling, reservations, and client inquiries via phone, email, or in person Assist with dog handling during drop-off and pick-up, ensuring proper animal restraint and safety protocols are followed Maintain cleanliness of the front desk area, lobby, and kennels to uphold hygiene standards Support staff with basic pet care tasks such as feeding, grooming, or administering medication if trained Handle heavy lifting of supplies or equipment necessary for daily operations Document pet information accurately and update client records to ensure seamless communication Experience Previous experience working with animals is highly preferred, including dog handling, kennel experience, or pet sitting Veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience is a plus, especially familiarity with animal restraint and care procedures Knowledge of dog training techniques or pet grooming can enhance your effectiveness in this role Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in a fast-paced environment Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle multiple tasks efficiently Experience with animal care procedures such as veterinary assistance or kennel management is advantageous This role is perfect for passionate animal lovers eager to make a positive impact on pets' lives while delivering outstanding service to their owners.
