This role focuses on sanitation, dog movement throughout the facility, and supporting Canine Coaches and Front Desk staff to ensure the best possible experience for dogs and pet parents. Rovers help maintain the high standards of cleanliness and safety that Dogtopia is known for while contributing to a positive and efficient team environment. Key Responsibilities Facility Cleanliness & Sanitation Maintain a clean and sanitary environment throughout the facility. Perform routine cleaning tasks including mopping, disinfecting surfaces, cleaning play areas, and maintaining sanitation stations. Clean accidents promptly and follow all sanitation protocols. Assist with cleaning dog suites, crates, and rest areas. Ensure waste disposal areas remain clean and properly maintained. Dog Movement & Support Assist with safely moving dogs between playrooms, suites, and other designated areas. Support Canine Coaches with dog rotations and rest breaks. Ensure dogs are transferred safely and calmly between spaces. Monitor dogs during transitions to maintain a safe environment. Team Support Provide support to Canine Coaches and Front Desk team members as needed. Assist with preparing playrooms and suites before and after daycare and boarding shifts. Help maintain organized storage areas for cleaning supplies and equipment. Support operational tasks to keep the facility running smoothly. Safety & Awareness Follow all Dogtopia safety policies and procedures. Maintain awareness of dogs and surroundings when moving through play areas. Immediately report any concerns, hazards, or incidents to management. Support the team in maintaining a safe environment for dogs, staff, and pet parents. Qualifications Must love dogs and enjoy working in a dog-focused environment. Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically active workplace . Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards. Reliable and dependable with strong work ethic. Ability to follow procedures and work as part of a team. Positive attitude and willingness to assist where needed. Previous experience in cleaning, pet care, kennel environments, or daycare settings is helpful but not required.
