Overview Join our vibrant team as a Customer Service Representative specializing in Dog Daycare and Pet Boarding! In this lively role, you will be the friendly face and trusted voice for pet owners, ensuring their furry friends receive exceptional care and attention. Your enthusiasm for animals combined with your excellent communication skills will create a welcoming environment where pet owners feel confident leaving their beloved pets in our care. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to combine your love for animals with dynamic customer service responsibilities, making every day rewarding and fun. Responsibilities Greet pet owners warmly, answer questions, and provide detailed information about our dog daycare and pet boarding services both in person and over the phone Schedule appointments, check-in and check-out pets efficiently while maintaining accurate records in our kennel management software Give feedback to owners at pickup about their pet's behavior and health Assist with pet handling, ensuring animals are comfortable, safe, and properly restrained during interactions Perform light cleaning of the lobby and office area Support pet care activities such as feeding or bathing under supervision when needed Requirements Prior experience in dog boarding or daycare, veterinary settings, veterinary technician work, or animal handling is highly preferred Background in working at a front desk or reception area, including computer use, enhances your ability to succeed in this role Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail and proactive problem-solving Passion for animals with a genuine desire to provide compassionate care and excellent service to pet owners Hours and Schedule This is a full-time position for 32-40 hours per week. Your schedule will be a mixture of morning (6:45am to 1pm) and afternoon (1pm to 7pm) shifts. A full weekend day (6:45am-7pm) is needed most weekends This role is perfect for energetic individuals eager to make a difference in the lives of pets and their owners.
