NEW PART-TIME POSITION
As an Animal Care Attendant you will be responsible for ensuring the well-being, cleanliness, and safety of animals in our care facility. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with animals while developing valuable skills in animal handling, pet care, and customer service. Duties Provide daily care for animals including feeding, watering, grooming, and administering medications as directed Maintain cleanliness of animal enclosures, kennels, and common areas through regular sanitization and disinfecting procedures Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques to ensure their comfort and safety as well as that of staff and visitors Assist with pet boarding, pet sitting, and pet care activities to ensure animals are happy, healthy, and comfortable during their stay Support outdoor work activities such as walking dogs, cleaning outdoor kennels, and supervising playtime in designated outdoor areas Monitor animal behavior closely to identify signs of stress or illness; communicate observations to supervisors promptly Able to lift up to 40 lbs following proper safety protocols Minimum Days needed: Mondays and Wednesdays - 8 hours each day. Pay:
