Job Description

Experienced Dog Groomer Wanted - Immediate Opening Tired of the chaos of high-volume salons? Looking for a calmer, more rewarding environment? At Groomer Has It, we've created a quiet, luxury, spa-like grooming experience where quality comes before quantity. We value comfort over vanity and are looking for someone who shares that philosophy. This is not a revolving-door salon. We take pride in slowing down, providing exceptional care, and creating a positive experience for every dog that walks through our doors. We are a family-owned, one-on-one, cage-free, stress-free salon operating primarily by appointment only. Our salon is designed to feel more like a boutique hair salon than a traditional grooming shop. We believe in taking our time, building relationships, and customizing every groom based on each dog's individual needs. While there may be some appointments that overlap, a dedicated bather is provided on those days to help ensure the day runs smoothly.
What We Offer:
50% commission-based W2 position Average weekly earnings of $1,100-$1,400+ before taxes, including credit card tips The earnings above do NOT include cash tips — and since the majority of our clients tip in cash, there is significant additional earning potential Cash tips typically average $15-$30 per dog, depending on size/coat type Established clientele with a full schedule already in place Approximately 26-34 hours per week, 3-4 days per week Dedicated bather provided when schedules overlap Most reception and cleaning duties handled Weekly cash bonus incentives Yearly bonus after your first year
A Little About Us:
As salon owners, we truly value work/life balance and understand how demanding this industry can be. We strive to create a supportive, low-stress environment where both people and pets feel comfortable. We are very flexible when it comes to scheduling, days, and time off requests. Once a schedule is agreed upon, however, consistency and reliability are extremely important to us. Our clients depend on us, so we ask that team members honor their established schedules and maintain dependable attendance. Time off requests are almost always approved, provided appointments have not already been scheduled for that day or time. We do everything in our power to make sure our team has the tools, support, flexibility, and resources they need to enjoy a long, happy career in grooming.
What We're Looking For:
✔ Minimum 4 years of professional hands-on full grooming experience ✔ Someone looking for a long-term home who wants to grow with our salon ✔ Reliable, compassionate, and gentle with animals ✔ Able to work independently on some days ✔ Strong client communication skills and professionalism ✔ Someone who enjoys building lasting relationships with clients and their pets ✔ A groomer who values quality, patience, and individualized care over rushing through appointments Professional references will be checked.
PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE PROFESSIONAL DOG GROOMING EXPERIENCE.
