We're a small, independent Capitol Hill-based pet care business looking for energetic, reliable, and compassionate dog walkers and pet sitters to join our team covering NE and SE DC. This is steady, ongoing part-time work

• not a one-off side gig. It's ideal for someone looking for consistent weekday afternoon hours, a genuine love of animals, and a strong sense of responsibility. You'll build lasting relationships with clients and their dogs, all while earning $20
• 25/hour, paid per dog.

Great fit if you're: retired, a stay-at-home parent with kids in school, a freelancer with flexible days, working evenings elsewhere, or a student free 11am-3pm on weekdays. Responsibilities Provide engaging walks with exercise, companionship, and a strong focus on safety Handle dogs confidently and calmly, using proper leash and restraint technique Keep to a tight daily schedule

• time management matters here Communicate clearly with our office and clients via phone, text, and email Treat every dog with the same attention and care you'd give your own Requirements Available Mon-Fri, 11am
• 4 pm, for 6+ months minimum (occasional weekends a plus) Live in DC, ideally near Capitol Hill 18+, legally authorized to work in the US Reliable transportation (insured car preferred, bike OK) — public transit/rideshare won't work for covering a route Comfortable outdoors year
• round, in all weather Smartphone with a data plan Can provide references, past employer verification, and pass a background check Not a seasonal or summer-only position. Prior dog walking or pet care experience is a plus but not required
