SATURDAY AND SUNDAY SHIFTS!

! We are seeking a passionate and energetic Dog Care Specialist/Boarding Kennel team member to join us. In this role, you will be responsible for caring for dogs during their stay, ensuring their safety, comfort, and happiness. Your enthusiasm for animals and dedication to pet well-being will help create a positive experience for both pets and their owners.

Shift Work:

15-20 hours per week. Shifts are Saturday and Sundays 7:30 AM-5:00 PM. Weekdays 1:00 PM or 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Various shifts available, weekends and holidays. Must be 18 years of age or older.

Duties Rewarding responsibilities:

Work with 30-40 dogs daily: clean kennels, feed, and handle dogs with compassion and care Take pride in your work. Shower dogs with love and affection. Meet new people and learn new skills Provide attentive care. Monitor dogs' behavior and health, recognizing signs of distress or illness and communicating with staff as necessary Handle dogs safely using proper animal restraint techniques and ensure their environment remains clean and secure Perform pet grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, and basic hygiene maintenance Offer pet services by engaging with dogs through play, socialization, and companionship Experience Previous kennel or animal care experience is highly preferred Knowledge of dog handling techniques and animal restraint methods Skills in pet grooming, pet sitting, or dog training are desirable Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary to move supplies or assist with animals safely Experience working with animals requiring special care or veterinary attention is advantageous Join us at Country Pet Ranch where your love for animals makes a difference!
