Job Description

Job Summary We are looking for an experienced, dependable Part-Time Dog Groomer to join our growing salon! We are a newer salon with a growing clientele and a friendly, supportive team. This position is primarily Wednesdays and Saturdays, with potential for additional hours as we continue to grow. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, treats pets with patience and care, and is looking for consistent part-time work with the opportunity to grow with us. Responsibilities Perform professional pet grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling coats according to breed standards and owner preferences Handle animals safely and compassionately using proper restraint techniques Perform nail trims, ear cleaning, and other routine grooming and hygiene services Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding grooming needs, special instructions, and aftercare Provide a positive and comfortable experience for pets with a variety of temperaments Maintain clean and sanitary grooming stations, tools, and equipment Provide excellent customer service and build positive relationships with clients Work independently while also being a supportive team member Qualifications Prior experience in professional dog grooming ; certification in dog grooming is a plus (Cat grooming experience is a plus!) Strong knowledge of safe grooming practices and pet handling Strong communication skills and the ability to provide excellent customer service to clients Ability to safely lift and handle large dogs and grooming equipment/supplies Passion for animal care with a friendly, positive attitude
Schedule:
Part-time Wednesdays & Saturdays Additional hours may be available as the salon continues to grow, as well as opportunities to pick up shifts when additional coverage is needed.
