Showcase of Citrus is seeking reliable, hardworking Animal Care Team Members to help care for our diverse herd of exotic and farm animals. No two days are ever the same here. You will support guest experiences, daily animal routines, and the overall wellbeing of our animals. Vet experience or experience with large animals, exotics, or farm animals is a plus.Animals You'll Work With:
Our team cares for a wide variety of species, including: Zebra Camel Asian Water Buffalo Bison African Watusi Ostriches Goats, pigs, chickens, and other farm animals.What You'll Do:
- Feed animals according to established routines.
- Perform heavy mucking and maintain clean, safe enclosures.
- Monitor animal behavior and report concerns.
- Assist with guest interactions and animal meet and greets.
- Support daily operations and work closely with the Animal Care Lead.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure a positive guest experience.
What We're Looking For:
- Dependable, selfmotivated, and comfortable working outdoors.
- Experience with animals (farm, ranch, sanctuary, or similar) preferred.
- Able to lift at least 50 lbs and work in all weather conditions.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Comfortable working around large animals.
