Assists veterinarians with vaccinations or other procedures; screens people who want to adopt an animal from a shelter and provides information about caring for animals.

The ideal candidate will have:
Strong reptile and amphibian husbandry knowledge Experience with a variety of species Experience with delicate, uncommon, or advanced-care species Excellent attention to detail and observational skills A strong work ethic and willingness to stay productive Reliability and consistency Ability to follow detailed care and necessary protocols Ability to work independently without constant supervision Good organization and communication skills Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and improve A genuine desire to grow within the company About the Position Our facility handles a constantly changing variety of animals. Some are established captive-bred animals, while others may be newly imported and require additional attention during acclimation. Because of this, attention to detail is extremely important . The right person should notice subtle changes in behavior, appetite, hydration, body condition, and environmental conditions rather than simply completing a checklist. We're looking for someone who takes pride in the quality of their work and understands that consistency and attention to detail directly impact the animals in our care.
