Job Description

Overview Looking for an experienced dog groomer with at least 1 year of experience. Join our vibrant pet care team as a Dog Groomer, where your passion for animals and flair for pet styling come together to create happy, healthy, and beautifully groomed dogs. In this energetic role, you will deliver top-quality grooming services that enhance each pet's comfort and appearance while building trusting relationships with pet owners. Your expertise will help ensure every dog leaves feeling confident, clean, and cared for in a friendly, professional environment. Must have own Tools No Sundays/Mondays Hours Tuesday- Saturday 8am-4pm (every other Saturday off) Commission with tips. Duties Provide comprehensive grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, styling, and pet coat styling tailored to each dog's breed and individual needs Handle animals with gentle care, ensuring proper animal restraint and safe handling during grooming procedures Perform pet nail trimming, ear cleaning, and other hygiene tasks to promote overall health and well-being Communicate clearly with pet owners about grooming options, aftercare instructions, and any health concerns observed during grooming Maintain a clean and organized grooming station, including sanitation of tools and work area to uphold safety standards Assist with pet handling duties such as dog training or basic behavioral management when needed Support kennel or pet sitting responsibilities to ensure animals are comfortable and well-cared for during their stay Skills Strong animal handling skills with experience in pet grooming, dog handling, animal restraint, and animal care techniques Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and team members Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary to transport or lift dogs safely Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly attitude that puts pets and owners at ease Familiarity with pet coat styling techniques across various breeds and coat types Join us in creating a positive grooming experience that leaves pets looking great and feeling even better!
