Job Description

About us Hollywoof Pet Resort is seeking a passionate Professional Pet Groomer to provide high-quality grooming and care, ensuring all pets receive VIP treatment. The role involves styling, bathing, and maintaining pet hygiene while delivering excellent customer service.
What We Offer Competitive Pay:
50% commission, plus 100% of your tips.
Schedule:
4 to 5 days per week.
Environment:
A supportive, high-quality space focused on pet well-being. Key Responsibilities Groom pets from start to finish, including bathing, drying, styling, and nail trimming. Handle all dogs with patience, confidence, and compassion. Communicate clearly with clients to understand their styling goals. Build long-term relationships with clients through excellent service.
Required Qualifications Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of professional pet grooming experience.
Skills:
Strong customer service background and communication skills.
Feline Skills:
Cat grooming experience is a major plus. Required Tools & Gear Candidates must bring their own professional grooming equipment, including:
Cutting Tools:
Electric clippers, replacement blades, and thinning/finishing shears.
Brushing Gear:
Brushes and combs
Nail & Hygiene Gear:
Nail clippers, dremel/nail grinders, and styptic powder.
Personal & Control Gear:
Groomer smocks and slip leads.
Note:
You may bring preferred specialty shampoos or finishing sprays if you choose, otherwise shop stock is provided.
