As a full-time kennel technician, you will be responsible for providing top notch care to our furry friends. Your day will be filled with activities like feeding, medicating, running play groups, as well as cleaning and sanitizing kennels and play areas. Duties Cleaning kennels, exercise yards, and common areas Monitor animals closely for signs of illness or distress and communicate observations to management Perform pet grooming tasks including bathing, brushing, and nail trimming to keep animals clean and comfortable Feeding, administrating medications, group play for dogs Maintaining a safe and secure environment for dogs Working as a team player Experience Prior experience working with animals in a kennel, veterinary clinic, or pet grooming setting is highly preferred Knowledge of dog training techniques and animal handling best practices is a strong plus Demonstrated ability to lift heavy loads safely (heavy lifting) when handling large or multiple animals Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members Familiarity with animal restraint techniques and pet care standards ensures safe interactions with animals Previous pet grooming or pet sitting experience helps deliver comprehensive care tailored to each animal's needs Join us in creating a safe, caring environment where animals thrive!
