Job Summary Join our team as a Kennel Technician and become a part of providing exceptional care for our furry friends! In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for animals in our clinic. Your attention to detail will ensure each pet receives top-quality care. Responsibilities Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, watering, and administering medications as directed Maintain cleanliness of kennels, cages, and common areas through regular sanitization and disinfecting procedures. Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques, ensuring their comfort and security Assist with pet grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, and nail trimming to promote health and well-being Monitor animal behavior closely, identifying signs of stress or illness and reporting concerns promptly Assist the technicians when needed Qualifications Previous veterinary experience is preferred Experience with pet sitting, dog training, or animal handling is a plus Prior knowledge of kennel operations, animal behavior, and pet grooming is preferred Ability to perform heavy lifting and team lifting safely when handling large animals Commitment to maintaining a sanitized environment through proper cleaning and facility sanitization practices Join us in creating a caring environment where pets feel safe, loved, and happy!
