Max's is a cage free, non-aggressive boutique pet grooming salon that strives for excellence. We are dedicated to providing high-quality grooming, products, holistic nutrition, and services in a welcoming environment. Our new Naples salon will offer experienced groomers the opportunity to grow their clientele while showcasing their creativity and technical skills.

The ideal candidate is confident in professional grooming techniques and has advanced experience in Creative Color Hand Scissoring Hand Stripping Asian Fusion Styles AKC Breed Standard Cuts Cat Grooming Compensation and Schedule Competitive commission starting at 50% or higher , based on experience and skill level Groomers keep 100% of their cash tips Five-day workweek Weekend availability is required Opportunity to build a loyal clientele at a brand-new Naples location with the support of our 3 x award winning #1 pet groomer location in Fort Myers for accreditation Supportive, professional, and team-oriented work environment Responsibilities Perform full-service grooming for dogs of various breeds, sizes, coat types, ages, and temperaments Complete breed-standard cuts and customized styles based on client preferences Provide advanced grooming services, including hand scissoring, hand stripping, Asian Fusion styling, and creative color Conduct consultations with pet parents to discuss coat condition, desired style, maintenance, and realistic grooming outcomes Safely bathe, dry, brush, de-shed, clip, scissor, and style pets Identify and communicate skin, coat, ear, nail, or other health concerns noticed during grooming Maintain accurate grooming notes and client preferences Handle pets safely and compassionately throughout the grooming process Maintain a clean, sanitized, organized, and professional grooming station Follow all salon safety, sanitation, and animal-handling procedures Work collaboratively with salon, retail, and management team members Deliver an excellent client experience that encourages repeat appointments and referrals Qualifications Professional pet grooming experience is required Strong knowledge of canine anatomy, coat types, breed profiles, and safe handling techniques Proficiency in AKC breed-standard cuts and advanced finishing work Experience with hand scissoring, hand stripping, Asian Fusion styles, and creative color is strongly preferred Ability to groom independently while maintaining quality and safety standards Comfortable working with dogs of different sizes, breeds, temperaments, and coat conditions Excellent communication and customer-service skills Dependable, professional, organized, and detail-oriented Ability to work a five-day schedule, including weekends Must provide a grooming portfolio or photos demonstrating previous work Must supply and maintain professional grooming tools If you are a talented groomer who is passionate about your craft and excited to help establish a brand-new salon in Naples, we would love to meet you.
