Job Overview As we head into our busy season, we are seeking a seasoned and experienced Grooming Manager to lead our grooming team, manage scheduling, generate revenue, and deliver exceptional customer service. As the leader, you will oversee daily operations, manage groomers, and ensure the highest quality grooms and pet parent expectations are being met. Duties Supervise and coordinate grooming schedules utilizing online software and communication Generate revenue to meet groom room budget and objectives Oversee the operation of groom room ensuring compliance with safety requirements, cleanliness, organization are met. Manage groom room schedule and compliance to salon hours. Manage groomers, business, and ensuring grooms are distributed equitably. Groom dogs Communicate effectively with pet parents to understand their objectives and make recommendations based on animal serviced. Qualifications 5+ years experience grooming Proven experience supervising or managing a groom salon. Ability to generate business, fill schedules and manage a busy salon. Strong communication skills with ability to handle challenging situations Strong people skills and ability to handle multiple personalities and people
