Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Kennel Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe, fun, and engaging environment for dogs in our care. Your love for animals and commitment to their well-being will be essential as you interact with dogs of various breeds and temperaments. The ideal candidate will have experience in dog handling, animal care, and excellent customer service skills. Responsibilities Monitor dog behavior and intervene when necessary to prevent conflicts or injuries. Maintain cleanliness of the daycare area, including regular cleaning of play spaces, kennels, and equipment. Assist with feeding schedules and ensure all dogs have access to fresh water. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dogs' behavior, health, and any concerns that arise during their stay. Perform basic administrative tasks such as checking in/out dogs and maintaining accurate records of each dog's activities. Requirements Previous experience in dog handling or animal care is preferred. Knowledge of dog training techniques is a plus. Strong customer service skills to interact positively with pet owners. Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary (e.g., lifting large bags of dog food or moving kennels). Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
