Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe, fun, and engaging environment for dogs in our care. You will interact with pets daily, ensuring their well-being and happiness while maintaining the cleanliness of the facility. This position is ideal for individuals who love animals and have experience in pet care. Supervise and engage with dogs during playtime to ensure safe interactions. Feed and provide fresh water to dogs as per their dietary needs. Maintain cleanliness of the daycare area, including cleaning up after pets and sanitizing play areas. Monitor the health and behavior of the dogs, reporting any concerns to management. Assist in administering medications or treatments as directed by pet owners or veterinarians. Provide guidance, attention & love to dogs during their stay. Ensure all pets are handled safely and humanely at all times. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dog's behavior and activities. Supervision and responsibility of dog play groups ensuring high levels of safety. Transportation of dogs to and from Daycare & Boarding. This is a physically demanding position & you must be able to lift 40 lbs. Personal cellphones are not allowed on your person when working in group daycare with the dogs.
Experience:
  • Previous experience in animal care, such as working at a veterinary clinic, animal shelter, or pet boarding facility
  • Knowledge of dog handling techniques and understanding of canine behavior
  • Ability to safely restrain dogs when necessary
  • Familiarity with basic pet care tasks including feeding, grooming, and administering medications
  • Experience in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in a kennel or similar environment
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) as part of daily duties Joining our team offers the opportunity to work with dogs in a fun and rewarding environment.
