Job Description

Overview We are seeking to hire a skilled Pet Groomer with at least 5 years experience. We are a high volume salon that has been in the same location for over 20 years. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a commitment to providing exceptional grooming services. Responsibilities Provide grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for various types of breeds. Assess the condition of pet's coats and skin to determine appropriate grooming techniques. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area and equipment. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pet's grooming needs and any observed health issues. Handle pets with care, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the grooming process. Stay updated on grooming trends, techniques, and products to provide the best service possible. Must have all tools required to perform your job. Experience Dog grooming with 5+ years of experience. Skills in customer service to build rapport with pet owners and address their concerns effectively. Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling larger animals or equipment.
