Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking reliable and compassionate pet sitters to join our team. This is an as-needed position , and hours are not guaranteed . Scheduling is based on client demand, pet care requests, and your availability. Ideal candidates are flexible, dependable, and comfortable working varying hours, including weekends and holidays. Opportunities for work may increase as client base grows. Please note that this position is not intended to provide a set number of weekly hours. Dog walking may be available for the right candidate. Duties
  • Provide attentive care and companionship to pets in their own environment
  • Follow feeding schedules and dietary restrictions as instructed by pet owners
  • Take dogs for walks, engage in playtime, and administer medications if needed
  • Maintain cleanliness of and ensure a safe environment
  • Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' well-being Qualifications
  • Experience in pet care, pet sitting, or animal care preferred
  • Knowledge of basic pet care, dog handling, kennel procedures, or dog training is a plus
  • Familiarity with veterinary practices and basic medical care for animals
  • Ability to handle heavy lifting when necessary
  • Strong customer service skills to interact effectively with pet owners
