Assists veterinarians with vaccinations or other procedures; screens people who want to adopt an animal from a shelter and provides information about caring for animals.

Job Description
- Provide attentive care and companionship to pets in their own environment
- Follow feeding schedules and dietary restrictions as instructed by pet owners
- Take dogs for walks, engage in playtime, and administer medications if needed
- Maintain cleanliness of and ensure a safe environment
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' well-being Qualifications
- Experience in pet care, pet sitting, or animal care preferred
- Knowledge of basic pet care, dog handling, kennel procedures, or dog training is a plus
- Familiarity with veterinary practices and basic medical care for animals
- Ability to handle heavy lifting when necessary
- Strong customer service skills to interact effectively with pet owners
