What You'll Do As a Paws Sitting Service Pet Care Professional, you'll provide in-home care for dogs, cats, and other household pets while their owners are away.
Responsibilities include:
Providing loving companionship and enrichment Dog walking and potty breaks Feeding and providing fresh water Cleaning litter boxes and pet areas Following detailed feeding, medication, and care instructions Safely handling dogs of all sizes Caring for cats and other household pets Taking photos and completing detailed visit reports after each visit Communicating professionally with clients and the Paws team Recognizing and appropriately responding to potential emergencies Respecting clients' homes, privacy, and property Following all company safety and pet-care procedures You will work independently in clients' homes, so reliability and good judgment are extremely important. What We're Looking For You don't need years of professional pet-sitting experience. We can teach you our systems and procedures. We are looking for someone who is: Dependable and punctual Responsible and trustworthy Comfortable working independently Able to drive long distances (our service area is from Inlet Beach to Miramar Beach) Detail-oriented and able to follow written instructions Comfortable handling dogs of different sizes and temperaments Comfortable entering clients' homes Able to communicate clearly Physically able to walk, bend, kneel, lift pet supplies, and safely handle pets Comfortable using a smartphone and mobile apps Willing to learn and accept feedback Passionate about providing excellent care-not just "playing with animals" Professional pet-care experience is a plus, but not required.
